What are the target fish?

Target fish include We target a good number of different fish species in the Destin area. The majority of the species we target can be caught frequently through many of the spring and summer months. The best time to fish for our offshore game fish like, Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi and more begins in May and runs through the end of October. In the middle of the summer we get to target Red Snapper generally starting in June and running through July, while the fishing in Destin for Red Snapper is Always really good we are only allowed to keep them during the limited season set forth by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. We fish for the following species: Greater Amberjack Cobia , Common Dolphinfish (Also Called Mahi-Mahi, Dorado), Crevalle Jack, Gag Grouper , King Mackerel (Also Called Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel (Also Called Atlantic Spanish Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel), Albacore Tuna, Grey Snapper , Red Snapper, Wahoo , White Marlin, Atlantic Sailfish

Where do I get a STATE Fishing license?

Florida residents and visitors 16 years of age and older are required to possess a Florida freshwater fishing or saltwater fishing license when engaged in active or passive fishing activities.  However, you do not need a saltwater fishing license if saltwater fishing from a for-hire vessel (guide, charter, party boat) that has a valid charter license or from a vessel whose operator has a valid recreational saltwater vessel license issued in the name of the operator of the vessel.
